About me?  I grew up mostly in Houston, TX, though I did live in California on and off for a few years.  There is a Texas-shaped hole in my heart whenever I am away from my homeland, though I do visit about twice a year. I have also lived in Austin, Dallas, Fort Worth, Princeton, Ann Arbor, Washington D.C., and now in Chicago.

I like to dabble with various athletics and have been into basketball, weightlifting, running, and, most recently, boxing and yoga.  My athletic interests often come into conflict with one of my greatest loves: cooking things that are salty, fatty, and spicy.  Besides that, my other great hobby is teaching myself guitar.
